This is my Obsession Spell, and yes – it can absolutely be used as a hex. Left “normal,” I automatically build sweetening and softening into it, so it sits in that gray area between light and dark. If you want it as a straight baneful working (pure obsession with no sweetness, no comfort, no healing), you have to tell me that up front so I can remove the sweetening layer and treat it as a full‑on hex.

What this spell does

This working is designed to get someone stuck on you mentally and/or sexually. It can:

• make them think about you constantly, crave you, miss you, replay conversations, stalk your socials, etc.

• build intense emotional and physical draw – wanting you, wanting to be near you, feeling restless or off when they’re not in your energy

• be tuned more toward mental/emotional obsession, more toward sexual desire, or a blend of both depending on what you ask for

• be used as a love working, a reconciliation booster, or as a baneful obsession/“drive them crazy over me and let them sit in it” style hex

You can cast this on someone you’re already in a relationship with, an ex, a situationship, or someone you’re interested in. Just be aware: if they’re extremely avoidant, commitment‑phobic, or naturally resistant to intense feelings, this kind of pressure can sometimes make them run instead of pull closer. That’s one of the main reasons I like to work with astrology when possible.

Astrology, timing, and why it matters

If you have any of their birth information – date, time, place (even partial) – I recommend using it. Different placements handle obsession very differently. Some charts take it as “I’m so in love with them, I need to be around them,” others take it as “this is too intense, I need to escape.” I use their placements and the current transits to:

• choose windows that stoke desire, emotional focus, and attachment instead of pure panic

• aim the spell at the parts of their chart that respond well to longing, romance, sex, or fixation

• avoid timing that could trigger the worst possible version of obsession (paranoia, anger, self‑destructiveness, etc.) as much as we realistically can

If you don’t have astro info, I can still work – I just lean more on what you tell me about their personality and patterns. But if you DO have any chart details, it makes this spell a lot more precise and safer to handle.

Sweetening vs. hex‑style obsession

By default, I always include some level of sweetening with this spell. That means:

• softening their negative emotions or resentment where needed

• making the obsession feel more like “I’m crazy about them, they’re my comfort person” instead of “I’m spiraling and losing my mind”

• adding love, warmth, or healing energy into the mix, especially if there’s been conflict, distance, or hurt feelings

That version is great when:

• you’re in a relationship and want them more obsessed, more focused on you, more passionate

• you’re in no/low contact but want reconciliation, not revenge

• you want it intense, but not purely destructive

If you are using this as a curse/hex, or you specifically want harsh, uncomfortable obsession (for example, you want them tormented by their feelings, not soothed), you need to say that clearly. In that case, I remove the sweetening layer and build it as a darker working.

Layering and how I work it

I don’t do obsession as a one‑candle thing. This is a layered ritual, custom to your situation. I typically use a mix of:

• a main obsession working (built around mental and/or sexual fixation)

• added sweetening work, unless you’ve told me you want a full baneful version

• candle runs and petitions targeting their mind, emotions, and body
  

• astrological timing and planetary influences when I have enough info to use them well

What this spell does NOT do by itself

Important: Obsession does not automatically equal communication or reconciliation. It makes them think, feel, crave, spiral, and hyper‑focus. It does not inherently force them to text first, apologize, or show up properly.

If you want:

• contact / someone reaching out

• full reconciliation

• direct conversations and tangible steps back together

…you will usually need this paired with a communication spell or reconciliation work. Obsession is the “they can’t stop thinking about you” part. Communication/reconciliation is the “and now they actually act on it” part.

Other ways you can use obsession work

You don’t have to use this only for love. We can get creative. Obsession workings can be used to:

• make someone obsessed with a particular idea (for example, taking a deal, choosing you for a project, investing in something)

• make a person fixate on their own guilt, behavior, or mistakes (baneful use)

• make them hyper‑focused on you as competition (“I want them to always compare themselves to me and feel like they’re behind”)

• direct obsession toward goals, habits, or creative work (if you want something more self‑work oriented instead of romantic)

Protection for you (non‑negotiable)

Obsession can get dangerous. People handle intense fixation in unpredictable ways, especially if they’re already unstable, avoidant, controlling, or struggling with their own issues. Because of that, I always build protection for you into this working. That includes:

• shielding you as the spell is being cast

• buffering you from blowback and weird obsessive energy

• adding protections against the more extreme versions of obsession where possible

You still need to use common sense and be safe in real life, but I’m not doing obsession magic on someone without making sure you’re magically protected first.

Timing, manifestation, and expectations

Everyone and every situation is different, but in general:

• this can start to move as quickly as a week if the target is receptive and the situation is already open

• most people see clearer shifts anywhere between about 2 weeks to 2 months

• avoidant, stubborn, or highly guarded people can take longer and may respond in sideways ways (watch behavior, not just contact)

Remember: this doesn’t guarantee fairy‑tale romance, and it doesn’t override free will. It heavily influences thoughts, feelings, and urges. How they choose to act still exists on top of that.

Who you can cast this on

• someone you’re in a relationship with now

• an ex or someone you’re separated from

• a crush/situationship/person of interest

• non‑romantic targets if we’re using this in a more creative or baneful way

Because this spell is intense and can deeply affect how someone feels and behaves, I highly recommend getting a tarot reading before you book if you’re unsure whether this is actually aligned for you, or if you’re on the fence between options. It’s not required, but it can save you from doing heavy work in a situation where something lighter or different would be better.
